Appendix G from the referenced ASHRAE Standard or from ASHRAE 90.1-2016 may be used.Buildings permitted before must meet the national requirement of 15% over ASHRAE 90.1-2007 buildings permitted on or after will be required to meet a performance target baseline of ASHRAE 90.1-2010.Performance Target Options: Savings (%) above varying ASHRAE 90.1 Baselines For all other states, the Performance Target is 15% better than the energy code under which the building is permitted, unless choosing one of the equivalent options in the table below. In states that have no commercial energy code or have adopted the 2009 IECC or earlier, buildings are required to meet a Performance Target of 15% over ASHRAE 90.1-2007, if permitted before January 1, 2024, and 15% over ASHRAE 90.1-2010, if permitted on or after January 1, 2024.
